Dealpath Appoints Michele Thiel as Vice President of Marketing

Thiel, who spent more than a decade scaling CoStar Brands LoopNet and Homes.com, joins as Dealpath expands its AI-powered operating system and network, which has powered more than $10 trillion in real estate transactions

San Francisco, CA & New York, NY – August 20, 2026 – Dealpath, the AI-powered operating system for real estate investing, today announced the appointment of Michele Thiel as Vice President of Marketing. Thiel joins from a career spent building the marketplaces and data businesses that reshaped how real estate is bought and sold — including more than a decade at CoStar Group — and will lead Dealpath’s global marketing organization as the company scales its multi-product platform.

Thiel arrives during a new phase of growth and expansion for the company. Dealpath has powered more than $10 trillion in transactions for hundreds of institutional investors, and in the past year JLL, CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, Avison Young, and Northmarq have joined Dealpath Connect — the industry’s largest private exchange for institutional real estate listings — which has distributed nearly 19,000 listings representing more than $930 billion in aggregate transaction value.

“Institutional real estate is consolidating. Capital, data, and deal flow are moving to where they can be executed at scale with speed and precision, and the firms that connect first will take share from the ones that don’t,” said Mike Sroka, CEO and Co-Founder of Dealpath. “Michele has helped build and scale the platforms that reshaped how real estate is marketed, discovered, and transacted. She is joining Dealpath as we define what comes next through AI, Connect, and our broader platform.”

Thiel brings more than 20 years of experience scaling B2B SaaS, real estate marketplaces, and subscription businesses across commercial and residential real estate. She spent more than a decade at CoStar Group, the largest data and marketplace company in real estate. At LoopNet, she led brand, product marketing, growth, and go-to-market strategy, driving category leadership, subscription growth, international expansion, and competitive differentiation. During this period, LoopNet’s marketplace revenue grew from approximately $100 million to more than $300 million. She went on to lead the marketing and launch of Homes.com, where she helped direct one of the largest marketing campaigns in the history of the real estate industry. Most recently, Thiel served as Vice President of B2B Marketing at TeamSnap, the leading youth sports management platform, where she led marketing across B2B, B2B2C, corporate brand, and partner channels.

At Dealpath, Thiel will own global marketing strategy, brand, demand generation, product marketing, and partner marketing, with an immediate focus on scaling Dealpath AI and Connect across both the buy side and the sell side of the institutional market.

“I’ve spent my career helping build and scale the platforms that connect real estate’s buyers, sellers, data, and capital, and I see a category-defining opportunity at Dealpath,” said Thiel. “Dealpath already sits at the center of how many of the world’s leading investors source, evaluate, and execute deals. With AI and Connect, it is becoming the network the institutional market runs on, and I’m excited to help define what comes next.”

Thiel graduated from Binghamton University with a bachelor’s degree in English rhetoric. She will be based in Dealpath’s San Francisco headquarters.
